More reaction from the Tesla earnings call with a few nuggets of news about Model S and X production, EV credits being a profitable part of Tesla, energy earning and when Model 3 will get to 10,000 a week.

A fourth route of BYD electric buses helps clean the air on some of the most congested streets of London, UK.

Chinese Didi Chuxing is partnering with Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi on their car sharing plans.

There’s a new Hyundai Kona EV previewed with just one picture, but we’ll get more details later in February. It is rumoured to have a 64kWh battery which will give it at least 200 mile range.

Geely has reportedly bought up shares in Daimler with a view to becoming their largest shareholder to access their EV technology.

And finally it’s the first day of Auto Expo 2018 in India with plenty of electric cars expected to be showcased.
