UNDP awards five ICT innovative ideas in South Sudan

Late last year the United Nations Development Programme UNDP, together with its partners launched an innovation challenge for Technology Solution to address Conflict Early Warning and Response in South Sudan. Fifty youths with 26 ideas entered the competition which saw the final number trimmed down to five ideas only. The winning ideas will be presented at the award ceremony taking place this afternoon. Miraya breakfast this morning featured UNDP Peacekeeping specialist Irene Limo joined by her colleague Tong Atak, who is the Accelerator Lab Head of Solutions Mapping.
