For every society to stand firm, there are some elements that hold them together and culture is one of them.
Culture is said to be an umbrella term which encompasses the social behavior and norms found in human societies. It is for this reason that the various countries appreciate and recognize the importance of culture.
To this effect, 21 May is World Day for Cultural diversity for Dialogue and Development. Radio Miraya this morning featured Elfatih Atem Maluk Beny - A senior staff of the National Ministry of Culture, Museums and National Heritage and Becu Thomas Alex - National programme Officer for Culture UNESCO South Sudan Office.
