Two communities in Warrap State have started returning the looted cows among themselves in a peaceful and reconciliatory manner.

Several traditional chiefs and spear masters of Tonj East and Tonj North counties, with support from Warrap state authorities, gathered the previously looted 165 cows and officially handed them over to their rightful owners. The Cabinet Affairs minister Akec Tong Aleu says that Lou-Paher, Thiik, Baac and Luacjang have reconciled with a good step of handing over all looted cows during the intercommunal conflict.

Up to 16 people were identify as looters and are being investigated by police to recover the missing properties.
