A new report on South Sudan has revealed a gloomy picture regarding the country’s food security. 
According to the Crop and Food Security Assessment Mission report by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Food Program (WFP) South Sudan is expected to experience a high food deficit for 2021 due to the impact of prolonged conflict and floods, leaving millions of citizens extremely food insecure.
The Head of Communications, World Food Program Marwa Awad spoke exclusively to Lucy Kiden and Philip Wani.
