Rajab Mohandis-recent attacks on church clergy add to different forms of widespread killings of citizens

An activist says recent attacks on church clergy add to different forms of widespread killings of citizens across the country and are indicators that the government is not in control of the security situation. 

Over the last two months, two pastors, one from African Inland church in Torit and another from the Episcopal Church in Lainya have died in the hands of gunmen, while the bishop-elect of Rumbek Catholic Church survived assassination. 

Executive Director for Organization for Responsive Governance, Rajab Mohandis describes the separate events as ‘unfortunate.’
