Beverage taxes are unpopular. It’s difficult to understand how common grocery items will cause a tax burden falling on families.  Not only do they disproportionately hurt working families and small businesses, it does not help individuals become healthier either.

Beverage  companies are helping to educate and encourage consumers to think about balance when choosing a beverage and providing healthier choices. The key word is choice.
