American Visually Impaired Artists Straight Off The Canvas

New York based film maker Anthony Saldana’s documentary film ‘Straight Off The Canvas’ shines the spotlight on two American visually impaired artists and how art is being taught in a New York school for the blind by a visually impaired Teacher. 

Connect Radio’s Toby Davey caught up with Anthony all the way from New York City to find out more about 'Straight Off The Canvas’. 

Anthony explained to Toby why he wanted to make the film, more about the two main American visually impaired artists featured in the film Elizabeth Castellano and Jessica Jones, who also teaches art to visually impaired students at Lavelle School for the Blind.
