Dachi: Mortality rate in South Sudan is less than 1%, that’s a plus for us.

The United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF says efforts in combating malnutrition are paying dividends, as mortality levels indicate a drastic reduction. UNICEF Nutrition program manager Gilbert Dachi says mortality rate is usually less than 10% but in South Sudan, response and treatment interventions have reduced it to less than 1%.  Dachi was speaking on Miraya breakfast show this morning.
