Police in Rumbek arrest key suspect involved in the shooting of the bishop-elect of the Catholic Diocese

Another suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting of the Catholic Bishop in Rumbek Lakes State in April.

Police say one of the suspects was arrested today at a cattle camp and another was earlier arrested in Juba and airlifted to Rumbek.

The latest arrests bring the total number of suspects in police custody to six, including a senior clergy in the Diocese.

Lakes State Police spokesperson Elijia Mabor Makuac says the suspect was found hiding at a cattle camp.
