SMAT is an acronym for the 4 stages of life we all go through if we want to succeed. In life, we all have goals and aspirations that we want to achieve, but sometimes we go through the stages of surviving and maintaining life before we can start achieving in life, and thriving in life, to finally get to mastering life.
Surviving is the most basic and important aspect of life. Once you’ve survived, it becomes essential to Maintain your life and ensure that you continue to remain out of water.
The next level is Achieving. When you’ve moved beyond surviving and maintaining, we start to have plans and achieving those plans. You learn, you grow, and you repeat. Most people live a fulfilled life when know they're able to achieve what they set out to.
The last stage is the stage of Thriving. This is when you reach the point of cruising. You have survived, maintained, achieved, and now you thrive, with people wanting to be part of what you're doing, and looking up to you and where you've gotten in life.
Most people don’t realize it, but thriving is easier than you think. A lot of people are able to do it, and SO CAN YOU. To thrive, you have to want to change the world and not just be contented with achieving for yourself. You'll want to create teams, build companies, launch ideas and achieve massive goals that effect great change for others - that's the key to mastering life.
During this time of global uncertainty, many of us might be stuck in the survival stage of the 4 stages of life. A lot of us are only aiming to get to the stage where they maintain that survival - and this is TOTALLY understandable.
But in spite of the situation we're all in right now, with the right motivation and leadership, we can pick ourselves up and focus on reaching our goals and aspirations. Wherever we are in the 4 stages of life, we have to aim to progress to the next level. Be that person who wants to be able to reach the point of achieving in life and thriving in life again.
