Various UK towns and cities are running trials for E-scooters, which will be for public rental, but there are concerns about how the vehicles are being ridden and potential dangers for pedestrians.
Many charities are worried about the misuse of the electric vehicles that are fast, heavy and almost silent and the way some riders are not sticking to the rules, and laws, when it comes to safe use.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Zoe Courtney, from RNIB's Campaigns Team, to learn more about the concerns and the proposed improvements to E-scooters and training of riders.
