SRSG Nicholas Haysom's Independence Day Message

The United Nations Mission in South Sudan is a UN peacekeeping mission for the world’s youngest nation and has traveled the journey with South Sudan throughout the 10 years of its existence in a bid to secure durable peace for the country. 

As the country commemorates 10years of its independence, UNMISS chief Nicholas Haysom has a special message for the citizens of the world’s youngest nation.
