It was a tough night at the office for our Lightning going down to our nemesis the QLD Firebirds twice in as many matches.
This time round hurt especially as it came at the price of two injuries.
Steph Wood - knee and Laura Sherian - Ankle. Both pivotal playmakers benched saw the firebirds run away with the game in the fourth quarter.
Coach Kylie Byrne, legend that she is, said "they can take a lot from the game and shape it into a winning formula for the remainder of the season"..........whatever that is!
