Group Therapy: The "I Was Drunk" Excuse

Her issue? A couple weeks ago she caught her bf drunk-kissing a girl's neck at a party. He said he was really sorry and says it didn't mean anything. Used the "I was drunk..." excuse. Her friend says that's reason to break up, but she wants to know what we think.
