One-on-One with South Sudan Olympic Athletes in Tokyo

The two athletes representing South Sudan at the Tokyo Olympics are making final preparations ahead of their races next week.
Lucia William will run the women’s 200-metre race on Monday and Abraham Majok Matet prepares for the men’s 1,500 metre race due on Tuesday.
The athletes have been in Tokyo since 2019 training for the Summer Games.
We spoke to Lucia and Abraham online from Tokyo and they shared their experiences of life in Japan ahead of the Games.
