Diversity in Yachting with Gabriela Barragan: Guest Ashton E. Gray

Ashton E. Gray is a 25 year old deckhand from the Bahamas. Ashton comes from a family of Captains and has been in the industry for 4 years and is a fisherman. Ashton is currently in Fort Lauderdale completing his 200 Ton and will complete his OOW course as well. Ashton wants to continue his family legacy and become a Captain, as well as help Bahamians be more recognized in the industry. He believes that anyone can work in yachting despite the color of your skin, and the sky is the limit!

Despite coming from a family of Captains, hear Ashton's story and what his experiences are from those that may not have had the generations of influence within the industry that he has had, yet make judgements of his abilities, based purely on the colour of his skin!
