The Value of the 2021 Census

Around ten million households will take part in today's 2021 ABS Census.

It is the 18th time residents across the nation have taken stock of their current living arrangements, preferences and beliefs to help inform future policy decisions and spending priorties for governments as well as contributing to a rich data source for researchers.

Demographer from ANU, Dr Liz Allen, joins Jennie Lenman in this podcast to discuss this year's census and whether we should be concerned about privacy issues.
