Mysteries and Monsters: Episode 137 Theatre Ghosts with Nick Bromley

Aug 16, 2021, 07:00 AM

This week, I am joined by author and West End Stage manager Nick Bromley to delve back into the world of the Paranormal on the hunt for haunted theatres!

Nick's book, "Stage Ghosts and Haunted Theatres" is a marvellous collection of first hand accounts of paranormal events drawn from theatres across the United Kingdom.

Nick and I battled through an ironic thunderstorm during our interview to discuss many of the cases he covers in his book, from the the murder of the Victorian superstar William Terris and his subsequent hauntings, an agressive ghost that made its presence felt to a member of staff cleaning up at the site of Wicked, a jacket with murderous intentions and even a story or two about Errol Flynn's haunted boat.

Despite the storms best attempts, we delve into some pretty spooky stories I am sure you'll enjoy.

Nick's book can be found here:
