Starling murmuration in Curtarolo, Italy reimagined by Cities and Memory.
"Seeing a murmuration of any size is a truly wonderful event, and in this recording we're close to the roosting birds and their sound is pushed directly down to us, so the soundscape is full and loud.
"The reimagined piece is based around trying to musically visualise the absorbing and miraculous patterns of the murmuring birds above - when we close our eyes and imagine a soundtrack to a grand murmuration, this piece is something like what we hear."
