Secret Window with Kate Siegel

Episode 82,   Sep 08, 2021, 08:00 AM

Returning Kingcast champ Kate Siegel (The Haunting of Hill House, Hush) joins the boys to talk about the questionable 2004 Johnny Depp adaptation of Stephen King's Secret Window, Secret Garden. Prepare for spoilers as the gang digs into the (limited) stuff they liked about this movie and the tons of stuff they didn't as well as some fun chatter about Siegel's upcoming re-team with Mike Flanagan in Netflix's Midnight Mass.

Topics include: Dick holsters, Stephen King's obsession with corn, newfound sobriety, is Johnny Depp salvageable at this point, some terrifying stories of crazed Stephen King fans and, on the opposite side of that coin, the incredibly supportive fanbase that Kate has built up over the years.

It's a banger!

Secret Window is the story of a writer being stalked by a mysterious stranger who claims that the famous author stole one of his stories. Based on a novella collected in Four Past Midnight, the movie was written and directed by Stir of Echoes's David Koepp.
