Scarecrow Comp Inspires Murraylands Kids - Podcast

Creative children in Murray Bridge are taking part in a Scarecrow competition in Adelaide.

Originally planned for the Royal Adelaide show,  the state-wide scarecrow competition is being judged by Gardening Australia gurus Sophie Thomson and Costa Georgiadis at the Botanic Gardens.

Fraser Park Primary R-1 students have made a story book character 'Mr Pockets' from Margaret Wild’s picture book 'The Pocket Dogs', while kindy kids have created a CFS firefighter,

Joining Jennie Lenman at the school for a chat about it is teacher Bec Phillips and some of the children involved (Lexi, Agot and Dekyrah from Rec/1 and Kindergardeners Mason, Phoenix and Dekayden).
