Easy Ways To Practice Escaping Your Comfort Zone

Today I’m going to discuss how to get out of your comfort zone. I’ve made videos about this before, but today I want to share how you can actually PRACTICE it. I also talk about a revelation I've just had about why it’s so difficult to get out of your comfort zone. One thing’s for sure, life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
In case anyone needs reminding, why should we leave the comfort zone? This may seem obvious and you've probably heard this a couple of times already, but leaving the comfort zone is our way of growing, embracing change, exploring new strategies, learning new things, and moving forward.
Once while cooking, I wasn’t sure if the burner was working. So I put my hand on the stove to test it, and needless to say, I scorched my fingers! For a while after that, I couldn’t use my dominant hand while I recovered. My takeaway from that experience is that there are always opportunities to grow, even in the smallest or most mundane of ways.
Since the accident, I’ve been using my non-dominant hand. Yes, I left the comfort zone of relying on my right hand and started using my left hand. I’m learning a new way of doing things, and while it’s uncomfortable and weird, it’s necessary. We find it hard to leave the comfort zone because it can feel weird - and weird IS okay. We have to get used to that feeling to experience growth.
