Stakeholders call for women empowerment

In South Sudan, numerous engagements reveal that South Sudanese women are still underrepresented, and more effort is needed to ensure their meaningful participation in peace and political processes and decision making at all levels.

Recently, more than 50 participants came together for a 2-day ‘National workshop on the roles of journalists, lawyers and human rights defenders to Enhance women’s participation in political and peace processes in South Sudan.
