The Revitalized Agreement on the Conflict Resolution in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) is a political settlement of violent conflict that claimed many lives and degraded citizens’ lives in the country. The parties to the agreement have so far made progress in the implementation of the agreement despite various challenges.

However, the citizens’ roles in the peace-making process in South Sudan is minimal.
