Government urged to protect local business from effects of floods

Government has been urged to compensate local businesses that were affected by floods in the Gumbo area of Juba.

An economic analyst says the government should protect businesses in areas susceptible to flooding.     

Akol Nyok akol said this following recent floods which submerged houses and a market in Gumbo, east of the Juba bridge. 

Akol further appeals to the government to streamline taxes and licenses to allow businesses grow.
