South Sudan to reciprocate visa waiver for Ugandans entering the country

The Ministry of East African Community Affairs says, it is working on plans to implement a visa waiver for Uganda Nationals entering South Sudan. 

The Undersecretary in the Ministry, Aguer Ariik says his office is coordinating with the ministries of interior and foreign affairs to implement the free movement protocol by the 01st of October. 

On Wednesday last week, the Uganda government stated that it would implement the free entry visa for citizens of South Sudan, on 1st October and expected Juba to reciprocate the gesture. 

Undersecretary Ariik says plans are being finalized to that effect.
