Exploring the Dallas Trail System

On The Deep Side of Dallas, hosted by deputy editorials editor Rudy Bush and the University of North Texas System’s Paul Corliss, Dallas is not a city with a reputation for embracing its natural self.  But the city is actually becoming a national leader in building trails.  The completion of its Loop trail in 2024 will give Dallas 50 connected miles of trails around the city, with spokes stretching into other reaches. The Loop’s executive director, Philip Hiatt Haigh, sat down to talk about where we’ve been and where we are going.
