The bell of friendship

La Campana dell'Amicizia e della Concordia (the bell of friendship and peace) is a monument on top of Monte Piano in the Dolomites. The bell monument was created as a warning to remind us to look for peace between peoples, and is located on a trench crag, between the first Italian-Austrian line. When you ring the bell, it resounds over an enormous distance across the mountains that surround you on all sides.
