Working To Increase Audio Described And Accessible TV Adverts

Season 1, Episode 996,   Oct 29, 2021, 09:00 AM

UK sight loss charity RNIB is continuing to work with broadcasters and advertisers to increase the amount of television adverts that have audio description, or are voiced in a way that makes them accessible and easy to understand.
There has been an increase in this type of content, especially around Christmas, but the charity wants more mainstream adverts to think about potential customers who are blind or partially sighted.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to RNIB's Sonali Rai about the work and if things are really improving.
If you have any comments on audio description, email audiodescription@rnib.org.uk or call 0303 123 9999.
