Do You Know A Blind Or Partially Sighted Child Who'd Love An Accessible Letter From Santa?

Each year, the elves at RNIB help Santa to get letters, in a variety of formats, to blind and partially sighted children from across the UK.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell went to the North Pole to find out more from Titch The Elf.

We also drop in as Kelvin, from Northern Ireland, gets to speak to the jolly chap himself.

Santa needs to know:

The child’s name and postal address

A contact telephone number (in case one of our elves has a question for the big people ) 

Whether the child would like a reply in English or Welsh.

What format is required, choose from uncontracted braille (grade 1), contracted braille (grade 2), large print (please specify the font size) or audio CD.

The deadline for braille, audio and large print requests is 1st December 2021.

There's also an option to receive a letter from Santa via email (16pt letter attachment) and these can be requested via santa@rnib.org.uk The closing date for email requests is 22nd December 2021.
