Paul Squibb gets the £1000 call in Maidstone

kmfm has made a Kent listeners weekend by telling them that they have won £1,000 with their competition '£1,000 Friday.' a month before Christmas.

kmfm listeners have 24 hours to enter the competition via text or online from Thursday 6pm, through to Friday 6pm, when one person is chosen at random.

Paul Squibb from Bearstead was this month's lucky winner.

Paul said “I have played this game for months and never won. I have just had a bill for almost £1000 for a car repair and with everything going on was wondering how to pay it. I am so grateful”

Rob Wills on kmfm Drivetime announced that although it was the last £1000 Friday until 2022, next Friday on kmfm is 'Cash for Christmas' where you could win £2,000 cash to spend on your Christmas shopping.

The competition begins Thursday 2nd December at 6pm and runs through to Friday 3rd December, 6pm.
