With the deadline for nominations for the RNIB 2022 See Differently Awards on Friday 31 December, Connect Radio’s Toby Davey caught up with Jacqui Dobson, Diversity and Inclusion Partner from the Financial Times, winner of the RNIB 2019 See Differently Employer of the Year Award to find out what winning the award meant to the FT and why people should hurry to get their nominations in before the deadline ends.

Jacqui explained to Toby what winning the award meant to the Financial Times, why she felt they won the award, outlining many of the ways the FT is an inclusive and diverse employer, some of the projects they have been involved in to provide employment opportunities and experiences for blind and partially sighted people along with why it is important for the FT to be as diverse as possible both within their workforce and in editorial pieces covered throughout all their platforms both in print and online.

Jacqui also shared with Toby what it was like attending the award ceremony and why we should all hurry and get our nominations in for the RNIB 2022 See Differently Awards.
