Filming of an award winning film titled 'Life Class 1920' wrapped up recently on the South Coast. It was directed by veteran filmmaker, Tom Cowan, and is a remake of 'Life Class' which was shot down here in 2013. Tom has a long and distinguished career in cinematography beginning with the  ABC in the 1960's before being based in London, where he was part of a group known as the Larrikans of London- a group of Australian artists and filmmakers including Martin Sharp, Richard Neville, Phillipe Mora, Germain Greer, and Clive James.  Tom is back on the South Coast which he thinks, quite rightly, has a wonderful creative community. The filming took place in Candelo and Tilba and other towns around the coast.
