Situated in the town of Alton, IL this home is currently being restored to its former amazing glory. Overseen by the owner Henry McPike himself, who like to make his presence known in the form of a shadow figure in a coat.

Currently a condemned building, you can tour the wine cellar where the most paranormal activity happens. People have been touched, had their hair pulled and metal doors open on their own. Also, they don't give you wine. That's the most terrifying part.

Grab a warm drink and hunker down as we tell you all about this beautiful home in a town built on limestone. I mean, really, it had no choice but to become haunted.
