The Missouri Hunting Heritage Federation

Episode 104,   Dec 22, 2021, 08:00 AM

On this week’s Living the Dream Outdoors Podcast host Bill Cooper talks with Missouri Hunting Heritage Federation co-founder Lee Vogel of Kansas City, Missouri. The MHHF came about as a result of kids not having enough opportunities to get into the outdoors to experience an actual hunting situation. Through local chapters MHHF volunteers teach kids about hunter safety, game identification, wildlife conservation, outdoor ethics, and outdoor skills which they will be able to utilize throughout their lifetimes. According to Vogel. “It is truly a wonderful feeling to see the look on a kid’s face when they break that first clay target or take their first game animal. We are dedicated to teaching children ages 11-16 about the outdoors and having them become a part of our great hunting heritage. This is a program you will not want to miss.
