IGAD Envoy: Registering Success in Chapter II will be the game-changer

The IGAD Special Envoy to South Sudan is urging the parties to implement the agreement in letter and spirit within the remaining fifteen months so elections can be conducted at the end of the interim period as stipulated in the agreement. 

Speaking to Radio Miraya, Ambassador Ismail Wais said IGAD will be engaging the African Union and the United Nations and the friends of South Sudan to ensure that South Sudan heads towards the path of democratic process, peace, and stability in the region.
