Refugees have for long been among the people on the receiving end, when it comes to bearing the brunt of the political instability.  The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is a UN agency mandated to aid and protect refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless people, and to assist in their voluntary repatriation, local integration, or resettlement to a third country.
UNHCR's Assistant Representative for Protection Allehone Abebe spoke to Miraya's Irene Lasu highlighting the work of the UN agency for the year in review.
