Season 1, Episode 8,   Feb 18, 2022, 12:01 AM

Lyndsey Uglow is the author of ‘Leo & Friends - the extraordinary dogs with the
healing touch; and a volunteer who developed the Animal Assisted Intervention team
at Southampton's Children's Hospital. In this episode, she talks about her very
personal journey into this area of volunteering through her own family experience
and the benefits it can bring to children and young people.
She shares her reflections about what fleeting connections can do for our wellbeing,
why we might have forgotten its importance, and why sometimes it can do more for
us than long-term connection.
