Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs warns of impending food shortage in Warrap State

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Peter Mayen, says Warrap State is likely to be hit with severe food shortage in the next three months due to devastating effects of floods.

Mr. Mayen says floods in some areas have subsided but was quick to mention that three more areas remain under water.
He said people have lost their livelihood in the floods including agricultural production and animals.

He spoke to Radio Miraya's Sebit William after a fact-finding mission to the area to establish the effects of floods.
