Research into the domestic abuse of people with sight loss.

Season 1, Episode 1082,   Jan 20, 2022, 10:00 AM

Nanya Coles and Nicola Stokes from Safe Lives, a UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse, for everyone and for good, are about to embark on a research project in partnership with the Vision Foundation looking into domestic abuse experience of blind and partially sighted people.

With disabled people three times more likely to be in abusive relationships than non-disabled people they will be looking into personal experience and barriers that exist within the system to stop victims with sight loss accessing the support they need.
