In the first hour of The Bench John and Lance discuss Josh McCown interviewing for the Texans Head Coaching position and his close relationship with Nick Caserio. The guys then discuss Penny Hardaway and the struggles within the Memphis basketball team and also discuss the success of the UH basketball team. At the bottom of the hour the guys discuss Davis Mills and the Texans coaching staff. John and Lance finish off the first hour discussing Kansas City Chiefs' player Willie Gay being arrested and what it means for the Chiefs ahead of their game against the Bills.
