Huge Community Support for Sunflower Fundraiser - Podcast

Episode 1513,   Feb 11, 2022, 01:14 AM

South Australians from far and wide have been driving to the small Northern town of Freeling near the Barossa to pick sunflowers for a great cause.

The Barns of Freeling opened up their field of flowers in the lead up to Valentine's Day for people to come and pick sunflowers and donate gold coins for each flower they pick to go to the charity HeartKids.

Corbin Schuster from the farm, at 140 Templers Rd, joins Jennie Lenman for a chat about it.

The farm will be closed for a private function on Saturday 12 February but will reopen to the public on Sunday 13 February so long as there are enough flowers left. Keep an eye on their Barns of Freeling Facebook page for updates.
