Throughout February, they’ve been teaming up artists like Clean Bandit, Will Young and Ed Sheeran with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the famous Maida Vale studios to deliver unforgettable live radio.
As well as going behind the scenes with Ken and his producer Phil McGarvey, Roisin talks to Concert Orchestra member Sarah Freestone about the process behind each arrangement (you'll be surprised how little rehearsal time they need!), and Radio 2’s Head of Music Jeff Smith explains how the artist booking works.
