Tekquiree is an Actress, Filmmaker and Health + Wellness Advocate. She received her B.A. in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Film from Clark Atlanta University. Tekquiree has starred in several plays, worked on some pretty amazing TV shows, and produced several award winning films.
Health + Wellness came into her life by way of her dad who she saw juicing and growing wheatgrass in their kitchen since the early 90’s. Whenever someone would have an ailment she would always try to find a way to heal them. It wasn’t until her own diagnosis with cancer where she had to apply everything she’s learned, go within, and do everything God was telling her to do (even if others thought she was crazy) so she could heal. Her healing journey has taught her that health + wellness isn’t just about what we eat, but also what we think, feel, how we stand in our truth, our power, and how we love ourselves.
She is the Creator + Host of Thrive Beyond Cancer. The Executive Producer of Your Voice Is Power, a learning experience that explores ways music, computer science, and entrepreneurship can be tools to advance racial equity (Pharrell Williams, Georgia Tech, and Amazon). Hope Village, a documentary she produced with Sunwise Media is now available to stream on Amazon, Google Play, and iTunes.
