- The supremacy of unconventional warfare as opposed to the conventional (Sun Tzu Chapter 5 notes , “Join battle with conventional tactics and achieve victory through unconventional tactics").
- The value of cheating as a traditional underpinning of deceptive warfare.
- The recognition that change keeps warfare in a constant state of flux.
- The imperative to focus on benefiting from and controlling one’s superiority in warfare.
However, traditional Chinese culture, especially Confucius, advocates perfect honesty in commercial contracts, something the CCP has jettisoned.
