The proposed Northbreak Port Douglas $317 million Surf Park has been approved by the Douglas Shire Council. Developer David Imgraben plans to construct one of Port Douglas's biggest developments, which is to include 300 metre wave pool, freshwater swimming lagoon, and aquapark beside a 160-room hotel located on the Captain Cook Highway, south of the Mowbray River bridge.
