Nathan Eagle: Saving The Kiwikiu

Nathan Eagle is an environmental journalist and deputy editor with Hawaii’s Honolulu Civil Beat. He joins Ceri to discuss his work on environmental stories and focuses on the problems that face the Kiwikiu, a critically endangered bird in what is sadly known as the extinction capital of the world, Hawaii.

Nathan talks us through the measures that have been taken to try and secure a future for this little feller. The task at hand is enormous but conservationists are doing their best to save this beautiful bird.
