Group Therapy: Her Husband Forgot Her!

She and her husband carpool to work everyday. On his birthday a couple of weeks ago, he was going out with friends for lunch and after work he didn’t come to pick her up. He finally did 40 minutes later claiming he was on "autopilot" - she's crushed by this. Is she overreacting??
