Judges 6:23-24
23 The Lord said to him, Peace be to you, do not fear; you shall not die.
24 Then Gideon built an altar there to the Lord and called it, The Lord is Peace. To this day it still stands in Ophrah, which belongs to the Abiezrites.

Gideon had revelation – Jesus is peace. This revelation was the gate he went through to receive that Jesus was his Protector and Rescue – you shall not die. Fear of death caused him to doubt and have unbelief. He repented – changed his mind / direction – and received a victory mindset vs. a victim mindset.
